80 Hertz is a state-of-the-art recording & post production facility,  situated in Manchester’s new multi-media super building, ‘The Sharp Project‘.

We provide a harmonious link between capturing world-class recordings & providing musicians line of sight, as they would on stage. The luxury of retaining isolation between instruments empowers producers to not only record & mix efficiently, but more importantly, stimulate a stunning performance.

The studio’s fibre connection enables real time streaming of any media, from live recordings to 4K grading worldwide. After a year in construction, the 2650sq ft space contains a unique 1000 sq ft floated live room, boasting a beautiful natural acoustic by means of a 28-ft tall ceiling. A further 1650 sq ft mezzanine floor, built around the live room, offers further production rooms all linked to the various recording areas. Enabling a wealth of adaptable connectivity options for  diverse media demands.
