80 Hertz Recording Studios offer a full range of services. In addition to recording, mixing and mastering, we also offer music composition for television and radio, broadcast voice over recording & audio restoration.
Our control and live rooms have been custom designed by specialist acousticians to ensure sonic truth is maintained for all projects. We also use a broad range of vintage microphones/analogue outboard and cutting edge digital equipment for the all important fine-tuning. Our recording kit is unrivalled and features well known names from the likes of Neve, Chandler Limited, Manley Labs, Westlake Audio, Focusrite, Neumann, Royer, Brauner, DPA, Sennheiser & AKG.
Our state-of-the-art studios are accessible and designed for comfort with air conditioning in all rooms, wireless Internet equipped computers for client use, on site secure parking, a loading bay for large vans/trucks and a kitchenette/reception area equipped with a large LCD screen with the latest in games consoles, DVDs and TV. Close to Manchester city centre, our recording studios are easy to find with excellent public transport links.
Currently our producers are producing, engineering & mixing artists & bands from Blueprint Studios, until 80 Hertz Studios have relocated to new premises in Manchester - updates coming very soon!

Since we started in 2005, we’ve built a strong client base in Manchester & throughout the UK. Our clients respect the fact that we never cut corners, slack on clients time and charge for petty matters – such as burning CDs. We love what we do & we love music!
Our engineers and producers pull-on a diverse range of musical influences from bands | artists | producers of many genres. We are on the pulse of new music, particularly music which pushes the boundaries in sound, arrangement and innovation whatever the genre | sub genre | sub-sub genre!
